Our Statewide Student Day of Poetry has been broke up into five regional events for 2015. You are now perusing the BOSTON event! 

On Tuesday, December 15, Mass Poetry’s Student Day of Poetry is taking over UMass Boston! SDOP features a morning poetry sampler, writing-generative workshops, performances, readings, and a student open mic. We’ve got something for everyone, from the student who isn’t even sure they like poetry to the senior leading the after-school poetry club.

This will be a lively writing workshop for those of you who want to write without all the rules you never wanted to learn anyway. By using both surrealist and structured techniques, we will peep under the left and right sides of the brain and see what peeps back.
